CUT logo + web design

Converting Unlimited Tape

Converting Unlimited Tape was a packaging tape supplier that had recently come under new ownership and was ready to invest in a brand update. We starting by making an acronym of the company name to produce “CUT”, a bolder take on the formerly boring, industrial brand. At first, the client was interested in creating a more stoic logo, inspired by his son’s recent admittance to the University of Notre Dame. After a few rough drafts and some brainstorming, we came to a more contemporary solution with dynamic shapes and simple yet expressive fonts.

Total Overhaul

The CUT team wanted a complete refresh of their brand, including updated stationery and business cards, a redesigned website, and a new Facebook page. I was able to take the brand values we’d formed around the logo and express them through a variety of print and digital mediums.

The new CUT website needed to represent the new brand direction of the company. It was important to make the website accessible and easy to navigate, giving the user confidence that the proecess for working with CUT would be equally as conveneint. I designed the site with bright colors and simple, clean photography for an inviting feel, and kept the design simple with clear calls-to-action.
